This site (0.13 ha) is located not far from a wide picturesque river. ARCHIVES was responsible to design a house that would serve as a boat storage with an extra option of recreation and temporary stay for gardener or driver. The client wanted the new building to be constructed with wood since there are already two log houses standing on site. The new building (58.8 sq.m) is a wooden frame house of stretched archetypical shape, with walls clad with timber panels and shingles and a board roof. In the long run these wooden scales will turn silver grey in humid continental climate, strengthening the natural beauty of the small garden around.
